About this product
A 5 HP handheld cutter that keeps its belt tension so you can keep your line.
10 kg, a 36 cm maximum blade, 12.7 cm maximum cutting depth, semi-automatic belt tensioning and a cast magnesium crankcase on a three-bolt joint.
A handheld power cutter for concrete, reinforced concrete, brick, stone and asphalt, at 10 kg with a 5 HP output.
The maximum blade is 36 cm and the maximum cutting depth is 12.7 cm, which covers most slab, kerb and opening work.
The semi-automatic belt tension takes away the one adjustment that quietly ruins belts, and the cutting head sits on a three-bolt joint for rigidity under load.
Digital ignition, a decompression valve and an air purge are what make a cold engine start without a fight.
Belt tension is the thing that quietly decides how long a power cutter lasts. Too loose and it slips and glazes, too tight and the bearings take it. The semi-automatic tensioner sets it and keeps it, which is one fewer judgement call on site.
The three-bolt joint between the crankcase and the cutting arm is a stiffness change rather than a cosmetic one. A cutting arm that can twist under load wanders off the line, and a wandering blade is what puts a bind in the cut.
10 kg with 5 HP is the point of a handheld cutter. It is light enough to bring to the work and hold through a run, which a floor saw is not.
Straight cuts are what it is for. A gentle curve is possible by walking the saw along the line, and anything tighter than that is a different tool.
Long service intervals come from three things together: a strong poly-v belt, a starter with nothing to maintain, and filtration that keeps dust out of the engine.

A concrete cut saw is a portable power tool used for cutting through concrete, masonry, asphalt, and other hard materials.
How does a handheld concrete saw work?
Handheld concrete cut saws feature a circular diamond blade that rotates at high speeds. The blade's sharp diamond segments grind through the material, creating precise cuts.
How deep can a hand concrete saw cut?
The cutting depth of a quick cut saw depends on the blade size and the power of the saw. Typically, concrete cut saws can cut to depths ranging from 3 to 6 inches.
What types of materials can a handheld concrete saw cut?
Handheld concrete saws are specifically designed to cut through concrete, reinforced concrete, brick, stone, asphalt, and other similar materials.
What are the main applications of a concrete cut saw?
Concrete cut saws are commonly used in construction and demolition projects, including cutting expansion joints, making openings for pipes or wires, creating control joints, and removing damaged sections of concrete.
What safety precautions should I take when using a quick cut saw?
It is crucial to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety goggles, hearing protection, gloves, and a dust mask. Follow safety guidelines, secure the workpiece, and ensure a stable footing.
Can a concrete cut saw be used for dry cutting?
Some hand concrete cut saw models are designed for wet cutting, which helps control dust and keeps the blade cool. Dry cutting is possible with specific blades, but it generates more dust and may reduce blade lifespan.
How often should the diamond blade be replaced?
The lifespan of a diamond blade depends on factors such as the blade quality, material being cut, and cutting conditions. It is recommended to replace the blade when it becomes dull or worn to maintain cutting efficiency and safety.
Can a concrete cut saw be used for curved cuts?
Concrete cut saws are primarily used for straight cuts, but some models allow for limited curved cutting by gradually guiding the saw along the desired curve.
What maintenance is required for a handheld concrete saw?
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the saw after use, inspecting and replacing worn parts, lubricating the blade shaft, and following the manufacturer's recommendations for general maintenance.
How deep will it cut?
Up to 12.7 cm, with a blade of up to 36 cm.
What does the SmartTension system do?
It sets the belt tension semi-automatically, which is what stops a belt being run too loose or too tight.
Why a three-bolt cutting head?
It is stiffer in torsion than a two-bolt joint, so the arm holds its line under load.
Is a blade included?
The listing covers the saw. Check which blade suits your material before you order.
Can it cut a curve?
It is made for straight cuts. A gentle curve is possible by guiding it gradually; a tight radius is not.
What protective equipment do I need?
Eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, a mask suited to fine dust, and secure footing. Cutting concrete dry releases respirable crystalline silica.
Does it need servicing?
Yes. Clean the filter and the guard after each session and follow the maker's service intervals.
What is the product dimensions?
61cm x 22.5cm x 41.5cm.
What is the easy and optimal belt tensioning?
the semi-automatic smart tension minimizes the Risk of under and over-tensioning.
What is the light and powerful?
a light, compact and powerful machine with a superior power-to-weight ratio.
What is the long service intervals?
a strong poly-v belt combined with our maintenance-free dura starter and efficient filter-system Active air Filtration ensure long service intervals.

The complete guide
Cutting concrete safely with a handheld saw
4 min readIndustry Tools Company Australia
A handheld cutter earns its place because it goes to the work. That is also why it is the one that hurts people: it is held rather than guided, and it is used in places a floor saw cannot reach.
Plan the cut before starting the engine. Know what is inside the slab. Reinforcement is expected; a live conduit or a water pipe is not, and a scan is quicker than the alternative.
Score, then deepen. A shallow first pass gives the blade a track to run in, and a blade that has a track does not wander. Trying to reach full depth in one pass is what puts the blade in a bind.
Bind is the hazard to understand. If the cut closes on the blade, the saw kicks back along the line of the cut. Support both sides of the piece being removed, and cut so the offcut falls away rather than pinching.
Dust is the other one. Cutting concrete dry produces respirable crystalline silica, and the dose is cumulative. Cut wet where you can, use on-tool extraction where you cannot, and wear a mask rated for fine dust either way.
Blades wear. A blade whose segments are down is slower, hotter and more likely to glaze, and a glazed blade rubs rather than cuts. Change it when it is worn rather than when the job ends.
Let it idle down before shutting off, and clean the filter and the belt guard. Most cutters that die early die of dust rather than of work.
Ask before you order and we will tell you honestly what the manufacturer states. Free delivery across Australia on orders over $100. What we will not do is tell you a piece of protective equipment suits your hazard: that is your own assessment and the certification marked on the product.
